Can the two-time world champion Stéphane Lambiel taking part in the TV show "Thin Ice" and no longer participate in ISU competitions?

The Swiss Skating Association on Thursday released a communication in which wrote that Lambiel automatically with participation in competitive skating, "Thin Ice" switch into the camp of elite runners, and therefore in all competitions by the International Skating Union (ISU) was no longer allowed.
